BBQ + Great Weather = Summer

This weekend was full of BBQ's. I just love the summer cause it means parties! Here is a picture of the ASDA BBQ that the dental school put on. Dev was second place in the balloon throwing contest with Darren. It was fun to see all of the students again. I hear names of individuals throughout the semester, but it's fun to meet and put a face to who Dev is with everyday.

We visited our rope swing again. Someone had hauled a couch down there and tied the rope to the couch for security purposes....like that makes me feel any better about this thing!

First picture is Dev and the second one is Adam upside down.

The tradition was set last year for a Big/Little BBQ. The dental school lines all of the (Big) first years up with an (Little) incoming student/family. This year it was at a really pretty park. Here is a picture of a few of us!

The food was amazing! This is Kimi's famous, giant hamburger! Go Kimi!

We had some people over and the hammock that I have been talking about was once again a hit! I seriously love this thing. Best 5 dollars Dev ever spent in Paraguay! Dev has become a hit around here with the little kids. He is giving them rides in this picture. They kept running around yelling, "Debin, Debin, Debin?!" Sometimes I'll here a Nitole, but rarely!

And last but not least, my 9 month pregnant picture next to the flowers I took on this weekend. Petunia's are indestructible right! I'm still pretty sick but am so grateful for the Zofran invention. My back is getting a workout but I'm starting to limit my night-time wake ups to 2 or 3 (vs. 4 or 5) which is nice .... probably from exhaustion! I think I'm being unconsciously trained for the lack of sleep when she comes. I only have 2 more weeks of work. I start my weekly check ups now and have my last hospital prep class next weekend. She has stopped the painful kicks, she must be running out of room for playing and she just sticks her bum out here and there. I am so so so excited for my mom to come. I have been doing pretty good with homesickness until about a week ago (an increased 6 months without being home sick). Now, I'm really really ready to see her even if it means horrible pain when she comes! Dev is still chugging along in school. I wish that I could repay him for his hard work in school and at home and for his patients with me. For some reason the chocolate licorice just isn't cutting it anymore!
