“Here is eternal spring;
For you the very stars of heaven are new.”
-Robert Bridges
That is what Samuel Tellin welded into the top of the 4 story wrought-iron gate I go through every morning to work. It leads into this commons room in the University's Cathedral of Learning.

I couldn't agree more with that quote. It is a great synopsis of what I feel . . . grateful for the amazing and continuous opportunities that Dev and I have. Although Pittsburgh is anything but eternal spring, we have found wonderful friends, great memories, and fantastic opportunities here. And I would be unappreciative if I didn't recognize the source as Heavenly Father. For me the very stars of heaven are new . . . and hopefully I can always look at life with this kind of optimistic, "go gettum" attitude.
A few people have asked for and I thought I would post a tentative copy of my 50 menus for ideas. If you click on the picture you can read the recipes a little better. I'm still working on a few but for the most part what is not in bold is completed. Now for the shopping lists, experimenting and eliminating!

P.S. We are leaving after work and I'm so excited! I feel like a little kid. I guess I'm this excited cause it will probably be one of my last, big, relaxing, "focus on me," vacations. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't' be more excited for our little addition but after Dev's amazing dedication (and absence) this semester (he pulled some awesome grades!) and the stress of motherhood looming . . . I just am SO EXCITED for this vacation!
