Parties and Craft Fair

You know, it is hard to think that when you have a baby you can't go to party after party whenever you want! What will I do! I just love how fun it is out here and how there is always something to do. I will try to make this a short and sweet update instead of the novels I usually do!

I finally got some pictures of the people that I have been talking about for 6 months! Here is our sweet neighbor Mary Lou! She is a doll and we just love her. She asked Dev to help her with her tree. Of course Dev scared her into thinking he was a professional logger in Idaho but the only way he knew how was without a ladder and with a machete! She has finally learned how to sass him back and those two were quite the hilarious pair last Sat.

He was loving every moment of it.
The weather has been incredible! I have been pretty home sick lately but one thing I have not missed at all is the weather in Idaho....well......actually just Rexburg. We borrowed Mary Lou's fire pit and cleaned up our yard a little bit so we can start having some summer parties! We had a cookie smores night at our house for the all first years. It was really fun!

Speaking of... we have had some very pleasant surprises in this house but this one is by far going to be my favorite! Here is a sneak peak of our big tree in the back yard.....and our cute little house in the background. I will post a picture of the tree in full bloom!

We have had some fun get togethers too!
I also had my first craft fair. I wasn't sure about it and that's why I didn't tell a few of you who were asking about it. And its a good thing.....cause it was a complete tank! But I haven't given up yet! Here is a picture of the fair just to demonstrate how different the market is out here.
Lets just zoom in on a few things here. First off the giant Bingo board in the back ground. The majority of the people who came were over 50 with the exception of a few weirdos and teenagers. Secondly, I would like to point out the used wedding dress that is hanging under the orange curtains on the left. Yes she was trying to get rid of her wedding dress. Secondly the used clothes rack in the middle, all items were going for a dollar! I also saw used lipstick for sale and more glass figurines than I care to see! And the best was that one of the tables near by brought a mattress protector to use as her table cloth! Nice! Anyways I think I'm going to try Etsy from now on until I can re-route my thinking and come up with a cute craft for a flea market!

Finally, I finished my blanket for our little baby! I posted the tutorial on the sidebar under the sewing group. It is huge and warm with a little pizzaz of a combination of fabric to it! But I'm proud of it and I really did spend a lot of time on it trying to make everything straight and even.
Finally, finally.... the baby is doing well! I think that I can feel hiccups but I'm still not sure! I will be entering in the third trimester in a few days. She is a little over 2 lbs and could survive in a NIC-U if she was born today! She is bigger than a soccer ball! Don't you love how the books always compare your baby to fruit and then sport balls later on!
And this is the longest post... ever..... again! Sorry!
