Okay I just have to laugh at a few things that have happened to me lately. I swear I live in a body that is not my body anymore! Yes I knew it would change during pregnancy but let me tell you it is a shocker! Okay I have come up with the top five best and worst of pregnancy. And yes, I know I am only 4 months but it is pretty apparent that you develop your opinions and bias way before you get to 9 months and I wanted to do it again at 9 months and see what has changed! Here is goes....the Top 5 best and worst of pregnancy that has effected me over the last 4 months:
Number 5 - Best
The clothes and necessities you buy that just makes you more and more excited for the arrival.
Number 4 - Worst
Watching your body change every time you get in the shower! Lets be honest, every time you get in the shower you inspect your body.....well when you see a blemish or unwanted hair or curve that was never there before it is damaging!!! Now you become confused because every unwanted blemish is also a reward for your hard work. So I know that I'm not showing too much but let me tell you I have passed the point of a Thanksgiving belly!!!
Number 3 - Worst
When the doctor adds even one more day let alone a month to your expected due date. 24 hours can become a very emotional realization and every minute counts!!!
Number 2 - Best
Witnessing evidence that there is a living being inside whether it is the doubler or an ultrasound. We are so lucky to have that kind of technology!
Finally......
Number 1 - Best and Worst
The amount of sacrifice that you go through before the baby is even there. Morning sickness, unbearable smells, being unbelievably tired, etc. P.S. Dev should get a reward for the last few months. Dev keeps rooting me on saying every time I throw up our baby will be that much cuter....Sounds vaguely familiar........something about how hot your wife will be after your mission or something! Anyways he has convinced me and let me tell you I don't care if it is the worst possible combination of genes that we could produce......I'm going to think it is absolutely adorable even after 4 months!
Well I took a stomach picture, then I took another one, then I took another one and was so frustrated because none of them demonstrated my bump that I have worked so hard for for 4 months. So we will just have to wait for another week and then I will get a good shot! Dev has been studying a lot lately and I'm back to work. I feel like I get home and have just enough energy to make dinner and crash. I love the money and it is making time fly so that is good. We have gone to a few get togethers and here is picture from one of them. it was at Kimi's birthday luncheon at Pamela's. I was still pretty sick but the food was still amazing there!
