ANI!

I just added a prego picture to this post cause I forgot it. I've been wearing my tight shirts and sweaters cause I probably won't fit in them in a while. But it is sure fun to have a belly that is constantly in karate mode!

Right now I am outside on the porch, it is 60 degrees, I am eating Oreo cookies, the baby is kicking and I'm listening to the rain on the roof! I would be ungrateful if I didn't thank Heavenly Father for the amazing blessings in my life. Dev and I have grown so close out here. I didn't realize how much you lean on family. I guess it makes you communicate through problems and develop memories when you only have your husband or wife with you at all times. I have so much more fun with Dev now! Not that we didn't before but now we can entertain ourselves for hours just talking and laughing or finding some fun activity to do together. The baby is healthy, we both love and appreciate our amazing families that inspire and support us. We have both adjusted to school and like it here and most importantly we are healthy and safe. I know that all of the important things in my life were not my doing, they were given to me and I acknowledge my Heavenly Father for his generosity and mercy with my short comings and in my life.

This weekend was so fun! We found out that Devin's sister, Ani was coming to town from DC to play! I ran to a crazy baby shower Friday night! It was really fun to catch up and laugh with all the wives. They are always decorating, sewing, baking and making the cutest things! And Melanie, props.....I was serious about the fact that you throw amazing parties! And Darren, Tiffany has some news for you!

So Dev took Ani to the UCONN vs PITT game and then we met at the famous Permanti Bro for lunch. Then I stole Ani and we went to the Phipps Conservatory. I don't know what it is but I just love gardens! And then we found a pretty view of both downtowns at Schenley Park. We finished off the day making pepperoni and shrip spinage pizzas and watching mall cops. I've got to say ....it was a fun weekend and it was so fun to be with and catch up with Ani! I feel so pale right now but you can kind of see the baby bump in this picture.

It was 60's and 70's this weekend and we fell in love with our porch all over again! This is a view of our recent Sunday sitting. It was raining like I mentioned on the roof and you have a good look up and down the hill. This picture looks smug and dark, but you can kind of see all the houses on the hill. We were Craig's list hunting! Always a good past time. We found someone who will remove coconuts from your trees for free!

Now I just have to dedicate a paragraph to our branch. It has been a great experience for us but sometimes you just have to put your head down and laugh! There are a few stories that I probably shouldn't repeat but thought this one was pretty good and appropriate to share! A few weeks ago we started sacrament meeting missing all 3 speakers, both counselors, and our chorister. To top it off our President had forgotten his dentures and was the only person on the stand!
